DuoCall supports Sheffield Hospitals Charity
We are really pleased to be able to officially announce that Duo Call Communications are kindly supporting this year's Buggy Push event.
Phil Coley, director at Duo Call, said: “It’s is an incredible event that’s really accessible for anyone who wants to get up and active with their families.”
Twenty three year-old Daniel Watson and his partner Charlotte Kirby also 23 (both pictured with their son George), are taking part in the Buggy Push on 31st May, for the second year running, to raise funds for Jessops where George spent the first 11 weeks of his life.
Charlotte who is a student and is originally from Reading said on behalf of them both:“ It was absolutely beyond terrifying finding out that George was going to be born early, it’s not something you even think about when you find out you are pregnant.
“It was overwhelming and we didn't know what to expect, but Jessops were absolutely amazing and supported us throughout our whole journey and saved our son’s life. In our eyes they are heroes and we are eternally grateful to everyone there for all they have done for us.”
We’re so pleased to bring the event back to Rother Valley Country Park after such a successful first year.
Participants have the choice of the full 5K route around both lakes or the shorter route around the big lake (better suited for some of the little legs!). The walk will start at 11 am and will end with a picnic on the green for all participants and their families. The day will also be filled with entertainment for the children including balloon modelling, a ball pit and a visit from a very special guest.
